How To Check If Your Mac Is Infected With Flashback Trojan

Over 600,000 Macs are now infected with this new virus codenamed BackDoor.Flashback.39 trojan. Chances of your mac being infected is slim to none, but it never hurts to check and see if your mac is ok.

To make this process easy you can use this new app called FlashbackChecker.

All you need to do is download FlashbackChecker from here

Then unzip it, run it and click the big button that says ‘Check for Flashback Infection’.

If tool displays the ‘No Signs of infection were found’ prompt you’re mac is safe. If you’re mac is infected, you’ll see a message that says ‘Potential issues found’.

Note: It is very important to make sure you update to the latest version of Java for OSX.

How To Fix Apps Stuck On “Waiting” On Your iDevice

Whenever, Apple servers are overloaded, you may face this problem that apps may stuck on waiting on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.

Here are some steps you can take to rid yourself of this problem:

1.Pause the App:

Simply tap on the Apps to pause them, and then again tap to ‘resume’ them. This method is most commonly used and we have also found it most effective method.

2. Turn of Wi-Fi Sync:

Turning off Wi-Fi sync is also another way to resume the applications. This method will only work for some devices.

3. Restarting your iDevice:

The last resort to solve this problem is to restart your iDevice; it will remove all weird labels under applications.
