Pebble: The iPhone Connected Wristwatch

Pebble is a customizable wristwatch that connects to your iPhone or Android device via bluetooth. In its first three days on Kickstarter, the project has attracted 18,867 backers and raised $2,656,389, of their initial $100,000 goal for putting the watch into production. As of right now, it can pull data like caller ID, email, calendar alerts, Facebook messages, Weather and Twitter notifications from your iPhone.

Each Pebble has a textured plastic case, shatter resistant lens with an anti-reflective optical coating and a custom-designed 22mm rubber strap.

The wristwatch is also rechargeable via a special USB cable.

Adele: The First iTunes Artist To Go Double Platinum

Colombia Records has recently announced that the singer/songwriter Adele has become the first artist to go double platinum in the iTunes Store. She recently sold a whopping 730,000 copies of her album 21 within a week after winning 6 Grammys Awards. Adeles album has been purchased on iTunes 2million times in under a year.

Her album, 21, has spent 21 consecutive weeks at the number 1 spot on The Billboard Top 200 Album Chart, making it the longest running number 1 album by any woman in Billboard’s history.

iPhone 5 To Come With “Micro Dock” Connector??

According to numerous rumors and news around the web Apple is reportedly in the works of ditching its current Dock connector for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to a smaller Micro Dock. The reason for the change is to reportedly save space inside future devices to make more room for more critical components and thinner designs.

Cornings “A Day Made Of Glass 2” Video

As I was browsing the web today I came across this amazing video by Corning showing us their vision of the future and the possibilities with their Gorilla Glass technology. Even though everything from the video clip is somewhat far fetched and futuristic it does give you a look at the possibilities we can look forward to in the future.
